Since opening his business in 1973 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania then relocating it to Boca Raton, Florida in 1984 owner/artist/founder Bill Klug has always had a vision for his studio and showroom; a vision to create a location,an environment if you will where his clients could come and be inspired by the unique and innovative possibilities of art glass. Now in Delray Beach, Florida, the new studio/showroom is a breathtaking gallery display of architectural art glass such as free standing screens, doors showing various art glass styles and techniques, a suspended eight foot diameter illuminated ceiling dome and various wall mounted fused, carved , leaded, kiln formed, and painted glass panels. Here all styles are possible from high contemporary to old world traditional.
The Art Glass Environments showroom has become a destination for interior designers, architects and home owners seeking to enhance their projects with art glass for beauty, privacy and ever changing light and lighting techniques. People visiting the showroom rarely know what to expect and can become overwhelmed with the many choices they have. Clients are encouraged to participate in the creative process by browsing through their extensive photo and drawing portfolios. Art glass artist /consultants are on staff daily to field any questions you may have about where to use or how to use art glass within your environment. Once you've discussed your project you may be taken on a quick tour of the work shop to see first hand how things are done.
The new 10,000 square foot location offers a gallery/showroom, class rooms, a retail store for tools and supplies, fabrication shop,and private conference room areas where you can meet with your clients to review the huge volume of art glass that they have produced locally, nationally, and internationally over the past 35 years.
