Located in beautiful Sonoma, Calif. wine country, Sonoma Forge uses the traditional art of hand forged and hammered metals to create a unique line of faucets and fixtures that are as individual as they are out-of-the-ordinary.
“Growing up in our family foundry and blacksmith shop, I found the pouring and forging of hot metal to be pure magic,” says Steve Rosenblatt, owner of Sonoma Forge. “The process of transformation that takes place when molten metal is cast, hammered and then finished is still just as exciting for me as it was the first time.”
Sonoma Forge is Rosenblatt’s dream come to life. The faucets and fixtures that are created here are unlike any others on the market. Craftsmen, inspired by unique designs, carefully shape, hammer and finish metal with bronze, copper and nickel finishes into functional works of art. Each piece bears the mark of the hands that created it and stands as testament to thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship.
The Sonoma Forge product line is currently made up of six models that express the company’s philosophy of unusual design shown through the art of skillful metalworking. Whether it’s the rugged, rough-hewn heft of the CIXX Collection or the Waterbridge Collection’s muscular sense of style, each of these faucets reflect a desire to offer discerning customers a distinctively different option for the bathroom.
Always looking for ways to combine art and technology, Sonoma Forge offers its Sans Hans function on three different collections. This exclusive technology allows water to be turned on without handles or notoriously unreliable motion and infrared sensors. Sans Hands works every time eliminating the frantic hand waving that is so often accompanies the use of other hands-free faucets.
In addition to its faucet collections, Sonoma Forge offers matching showers and bathroom accessories to complete the bathroom suite. Faucets and fixtures are available in several finishes that reflect the design and feel of each individual style.
“We want our faucets to be completely different,” says Rosenblatt. “I think that we have succeeded in creating an unusual line of faucets that look just as spectacular in an urban loft as they do in a Tuscan-style villa. We have fun when we design a new product and we hope that blend of curiosity, pride and craftsmanship is evident to all of our customers.”
